Katrium’s Integrated Management System holds a diverse portfolio of national and international certifications, such as NBR ISO 9001, NBR ISO 14001, KOSHER, HALAL, HACCP, CCL, Local Content, and LARS.

Quality Management System Certification

The Quality Management System has been certified to regulatory standard NBR ISO 9001 since 2001, which defines the requirements for the continuous improvement of its operations. The certification aims to ensure improved processes by streamlining the products’ manufacture to meet customers’ needs and expectations.

Environmental Management System Certification

The Company acts responsibly to protect the environment, and its Environmental Management System has been certified to NBR ISO 14001 since 2008. The system establishes a set of appropriate actions to manage all aspects and environmental impacts related to our activities, products, and services.

KOSHER Certification

Katrium has been KOSHER certified since 2016 by the Orthodox Union – an internationally accredited entity that certifies manufactured products that comply with the precepts of the Jewish religion, and, therefore, the Jewish dietary laws (“kashrut”).

HALAL Certification

Katrium is HALAL certified. This certification is provided by CDIAL HALAL, a Brazilian certification company acknowledged by Islamic countries and authorized by the Gulf Accreditation Center (GAC) that certifies that the manufacturing process of Katrium products complies with the requirements established by the HALAL and Sharia Certification Manual. These standards are defined by the Center for the Dissemination of Islam for Latin America (CDIAL).

HACCP Certification

The complete portfolio of Potassium Carbonates manufactured by Katrium is HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certified.

The HACCP certification is a quality certification required by companies in the food sector to demonstrate that foods and products that are part of the Company’s food chain are safe for consumers. By applying the HACCP method, Katrium proves its commitment to food safety and increases confidence in its products in the most stringent markets.

HCl Local Content Certification

Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) production is certified according to Local Content certification criteria, aiming to foster the domestic goods and services industry, on a competitive basis, in the oil and gas exploration and production projects.

LARS

The Health Requirements Compliance Report (LARS) ensures that Chlorine and Sodium Hypochlorite produced at Katrium are appropriate to treat water for human consumption.

Laboratory Accreditation Certificate - CCL

The Laboratory Accreditation Certificate (CCL) is the administrative act by which the environmental agency certifies companies’ training to carry out laboratory analyses according to their parameters.
